Kumwell - Safety to Society

We believe a safe society is a livable and sustainable one

Kumwell Corporation Public Company Limited

For over a decade, we have embraced the concept of Soft Power Engagement through our flagship initiative, Creating Shared Value (CSV) Safety to Society, in collaboration with strategic partners and networks. This long-term commitment supports our organizational mission to deliver safety from lightning hazards and electromagnetic disturbances to all sectors of society, including:

Collaboration with the Council of Engineers Thailand

Kumwell Academy serves as a Core CPD Organization, recognized for more than 10 years. As a continuing professional development hub, Kumwell has delivered technical training programs under this initiative, enabling over 10,000 participants to earn CPD credits required for license renewal with the Council of Engineers.

Partnership with the Occupational Safety Division, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour

Kumwell Academy has served as a knowledge and training hub delivering expertise and safety education to the industrial and service sectors under its ongoing learning initiative.

Collaboration with the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour

Kumwell contributed to the development of the National Skill Standard for Grounding and Lightning Protection Systems, which was officially published in the Royal Thai Government Gazette on December 16, 2014.

Cooperation with the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. The Kings Patronage

Kumwell participated in the development of the national standard for lightning protection systems.

Collaboration with the Thai Electrical & Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA)

Implemented the TEMCA Corporate Creating Shared Value (TEMCA C CSV) initiative to promote safety for society, with key projects including:

Developed an installation manual covering electrical and communication systems, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection systems, as well as air conditioning and ventilation systems

Developed over 20 volumes of the National Guide Installation, establishing national standards. The initiative also fostered international collaboration by upgrading TEMCAs electrical and mechanical installation manuals into the official Installation Handbook for the Philippines, and further expanding into the creation of a unified ASEAN Installation Handbook for standardized practices across the region.

TEMCA Academy, in collaboration with its network members and partners, has developed training courses for electrical engineers focusing on the installation of electrical and mechanical systems

  • Developed training and certification programs on electrical and mechanical system installation for members of the Thai Electrical & Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA).
  • Developed educational curricula for electrical and mechanical system installation in collaboration with Central Region Technical Colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission.
  • Developed academic curricula for electrical and mechanical system installation in collaboration with King Mongkuts Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).
  • Developed training and certification programs in collaboration with the ASEAN Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC) as part of the initiative to establish the ASEAN Academy and elevate regional professional standards.

Driven community development initiatives for nearly four years

These efforts include projects such as "Engineering for Community", "Livable Subdistrict", and the "Community-Based Economic Model Project". One of the most successful initiatives is the Pathom Wiwek Organic Agriculture Learning Center Project in Nong Yang Suea, Saraburi Province. This project later led to the establishment of the KMITL Institute for Next-Generation Organic Agriculture Research, aimed at helping Thai farmers adopt high-quality, systematic organic farming practices.

Additionally, a company was founded under a Holding Company structure to develop and produce organic fertilizers under the 4 KINGS brand. These fertilizers can be customized with different N-P-K formulas to help Thai farmers reduce their dependence on chemical inputs contributing to truly sustainable agriculture.

In collaboration with both domestic and international partners and networks

Conducted research and development of clean energy innovations for the future, including the Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) project, aimed at establishing a prototype power plant, as well as hydrogen energy research and development. In addition, the company has advanced Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) research to ensure the safe and sustainable advancement of the countrys industrial sector.
