Kumwell and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) Discuss Academic and Innovation Collaboration

Kumwell Corporation Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Boonsak Kiatjarunlert, Chief Executive Officer, together with the Company’s executive team, held a discussion with Associate Professor Dr. Sommai Phiusaad, President, Mr. Kittipong Limsuwanroj, Distinguished Member of the University Council, and the executive management team of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT). The meeting aimed to define strategic directions for academic and innovation collaboration between the education sector and the business sector.

The discussion focused on integrating Kumwell’s expertise and innovations—such as Smart Lightning Warning Systems, lightning data platforms, real-time fiber-optic sensing technology, hypochlorous disinfectant solution generator innovation, as well as expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)—to support academic utilization and research at the university.

In addition, both parties exchanged views on potential collaboration in the areas of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/drones) and Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) aircraft conversion for research and development, with the goal of further industrial application and expanding future business opportunities. This collaboration is expected to play a significant role in enhancing the academic and industrial capabilities of Thailand, enabling them to keep pace with global market changes and international competition.

Following the discussion, the Kumwell executive team visited the Aeronautical Electronic Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, to exchange perspectives and explore opportunities for sustainable joint development.
