Kumwell Corporation Public Company Limited would like to thank everyone for their interest in attending the Kumwell Academy seminar for September on the topic: "Basic Knowledge, Selection, Testing, and Application of SPD in Various Systems According to IEC 61643 Standards," held at the Kumwell Academy Learning Center, 6th Floor, Head Office.
During the event, participants gained in-depth knowledge regarding Surge Protective Devices (SPD), based on IEC 61643 standards, covering key concepts in both theory and practice. The session encompassed everything from the fundamentals of lightning protection systems and relevant standards to specific guidelines for the design and application of SPDs for surge protection in various systems, such as AC/DC electrical systems, CCTV systems, data signal lines, and Solar PV systems.
Furthermore, participants visited the Kumwell Laboratory to witness a demonstration of actual SPD inspection and testing by Kumwell’s expert engineers, ensuring a clear understanding of the procedures and guidelines for efficient SPD analysis.
Kumwell sincerely hopes that this seminar serves as a learning platform enabling attendees to apply the knowledge practically in electrical systems—enhancing safety, design, and SPD installation for maximum efficiency, thereby securing lives and property within Thailand’s electrical infrastructure.
