Kumwell Congratulates USAR Thailand on Passing the IEC Assessment and Supports the Mission with SLWS Safety Technology

Kumwell Corporation Public Company Limited, led by Dr. Wannapa Peerathum, Executive Director, attended the press conference to congratulate the successful achievement of the INSARAG External Classification (IEC) assessment organized by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM).
Kumwell extends its heartfelt congratulations to USAR Thailand for successfully passing the IEC assessment by the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group, officially advancing to an internationally classified Urban Search and Rescue team under the name THA-01.
The assessment was conducted from 1113 November 2025 with evaluators from 11 countries participating.
During this intensive 36-hour exercise and assessment, Kumwell had the opportunity to support the mission with advanced safety technology through our innovation:
Smart Lightning Warning System (SLWS) Model: KLWS-ESM-15.
The system integrates Electric Field and Lightning Strike data with an AI-driven operation platform, enabling accurate early warnings in compliance with IEC 62793:2020 and TIS 3461-2565 (Thunderstorm warning systems - Protection against lightning).
This technology helped monitor lightning risks in high-exposure zones, allowing USAR Thailand personnel to halt operations immediately before entering danger areas and continue their mission with maximum safety.
Kumwell would like to express our appreciation to all agencies involved in driving this humanitarian mission.
