Kumwell Strengthens Its Regional Role, Driving Collaboration in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Across the Asia-Pacific
Building on its initiative to advance the Creating Shared Value (CSV) – Safety to Society concept at the regional level, Kumwell proposed the development of the ASEAN Engineering Installation Handbook last year, with the aim of enhancing engineering installation standards and safety across ASEAN.
In 2026, Mr. Boonsak Kiatjaroenlert, President of FAPECA, continued his role in strengthening connections among professional networks across the region through the AFEEC–FAPECA Meeting, held on 21–22 August 2026 in Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand.
One of the key agendas was the FAPECA Presidency Handover, during which Mr. Boonsak handed over the FAPECA Presidency for the 2027–2028 term to Mr. Chang Li-Tsai, President of the Taiwan Electrical Contractors Association (TECA). The handover marks a continued commitment to strengthening professional networks and advancing the electrical industry across the Asia-Pacific region.
At the same time, Mr. Boonsak, together with Mr. John Tan, President of AFEEC, and Mr. Paiboon Angkanakornkul, President of the Thai Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA), welcomed more than 200 delegates and experts to the AFEEC & FAPECA Conference 2026, held under the theme “THE ONEXT – M&E Engineering Transforms the Next Future.”
The conference covered key topics including Net Zero, Grid Modernization, AI, Data Centers, Energy Transition, and Sustainability, reflecting the evolving landscape and future direction of the electrical and mechanical engineering industry.
Kumwell is proud to be part of efforts to connect knowledge, standards, and regional collaboration, contributing to enhanced safety and sustainable growth across the electrical and mechanical engineering industry.
