Safety and Occupational Health Policy and Governance

The Company has established Safety and Occupational Health Policies as a fundamental part of its business operations. The Board of Directors and senior management are responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and regularly reviewing safety performance to ensure compliance with applicable laws, relevant standards, and good practices.

Clear safety roles and responsibilities are defined at all levels of the organization—from policy and management to operational levels—to ensure that safety management is a shared responsibility of everyone within the organization, as follows:

The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment Committee (Safety Committee) comprises senior management, elected employee representatives, and representatives appointed by the Company.

At present, the Company has two Safety Committees: the Bang Yai Factory Safety Committee and the Sai Yai Factory Safety Committee. Each committee is supported by subcommittee members representing various departments. Their responsibilities include reviewing safety policies and action plans, conducting workplace inspections and assessments, and reporting safety performance to management.

Committee members serve a two-year term and meet at least once a month. The Safety Department plays a key role in driving safety-related activities across all functions in line with the Company’s targets, as well as collecting and maintaining safety statistics to support continuous improvement and the development of a safe and healthy working environment for employees.
