Supporting Projects and Initiatives

Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) Wastewater Treatment System and Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) Biological Treatment System at the Sai Yai Factory

  • Installed a Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) wastewater treatment system for the Ground Rod manufacturing process. The system enables water to be recycled and reused within the production process under a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) approach, resulting in zero wastewater discharge from the manufacturing process.
  • Installed a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) biological wastewater treatment system to treat wastewater generated from factory sanitary facilities. Treated water meets the wastewater discharge standards prescribed by the Ministry of Industry (B.E. 2560 / 2017) before being reused for landscape irrigation, helping increase green areas within the factory.
  • Conducted water leak inspections and repairs every three months, while regularly inspecting and maintaining water supply equipment to prevent water loss caused by leakage or equipment deterioration.
  • Implemented water conservation policies and measures, including the installation of sensor-operated faucets in office and factory buildings to reduce unnecessary water consumption and improve water use efficiency.
