Kumwell Academy Academic Seminar: Grounding Systems in Compliance with EIT & IEC Standards

Kumwell Corporation Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Boonsak Kiatjaroonlert, Chief Executive Officer,
organized an academic seminar entitled Grounding Systems in accordance with EIT and IEC Standards
at the Kumwell Academy Learning Center, 6th Floor, Head Office.
This seminar was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Prasit Pityapatt together with a team of expert engineers from Kumwell, who shared in-depth knowledge on grounding systems in accordance with EIT and IEC standards. These standards play a vital role in electrical safety across all sectors, including industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, hospitals, and residential applications.
Key topics covered throughout the day included:
Principles of grounding system design in accordance with EIT standards
Techniques for material selection and calculation of earth resistance
Measurement of soil resistivity and ground resistance
Guidelines on the use of MEG instruments and the design of earthing and bonding systems in accordance with IEC 60364-4-41, IEC 60364-5-54, and BS 7671, covering low-voltage electrical system concepts, protection against electric shock, and the continuity of safe grounding systems
In addition, Kumwell introduced a social responsibility initiative aimed at jointly creating safety value for households. This initiative focuses on disseminating standardized grounding system knowledge to the general public, with the goal of sustainably enhancing the safety of lives and property.
