Impact Mitigation and Remediation Measures
In the past year, the Company recorded no incidents of human rights violations. Nevertheless, the Company has established human rights impact mitigation and remediation measures to ensure appropriate responses should any human rights violation occur.
The Human Rights and Labor Practices Committee identifies the departments responsible for managing relevant human rights risks in each area and submits the proposed responsibilities to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for approval. The responsible departments are then required to implement the appropriate measures in accordance with the established plans.
In the event of a human rights violation, the department responsible for the relevant risk must promptly develop a remediation plan for affected individuals, which may include both financial and non-financial assistance, and submit the plan to the CEO for approval. Remediation measures are determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the nature and severity of the impact.
The Company also establishes preventive measures to avoid recurrence and strengthen its ongoing management of human rights risks.
To address and reduce the likelihood of human rights violations that may arise from the Company’s business activities, the Company has established appropriate response measures.
In the event of a human rights violation, the Company will conduct a fair and impartial investigation involving all relevant parties and take appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with the following measures:
